Innovaero, a rapidly growing aerospace company, proudly displayed its FOX Vertical Take Off and Landing (VTOL) Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) at the WA Resource and Technology Showcase held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre from April 2-4, 2023.
The event was aimed at raising awareness about career opportunities in emerging and high-value industries and inspiring people of all ages to identify new career pathways.
As part of the Defence West stand at the EXPO, Innovaero showcased its FOX VTOL UAV, a mid to large-sized drone designed for a wide range of missions. The impressive UAV, with a wingspan of approximately 8 metres, generated great excitement among attendees.
The WA Resource and Technology Showcase was officially opened by Prime Minister Anthony Albanese on April 2, 2023, marking his first official engagement in Perth.
During his visit to the Defence West stand, Mr. Albanese stopped by the FOX display and met with Innovaero team members Adam Kelly, Dave Tomkinson, Michelle Clement, Director of Defence Science Centre, Dept Jobs science and innovation, and Linda Dawson, Deputy Director General of the WA Dept of Industry, Science and Innovation.
As a company experiencing explosive growth and actively recruiting new talent, Innovaero recognizes the importance of participating in such events to address the current shortage of candidates with STEM skills and qualifications.
