Last week Innovaero recognised National Science Week, a celebration of science and technology across Australia.
Lead by the Minister for Industry, Science and Technology, the Hon Christian Porter and supported by the CSIRO, Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) and the Australian Science Teachers Association, this important annual event recognises the Australian scientific community’s achievements and sparks the imaginations of the next generation pursuing science and technology through their studies and professional careers.
Innovaero has been a longstanding contributor to Australia’s scientific community through the development of our world leading and multi-award-winning aeronautical design and aerial geospatial sensor technology and sovereign manufacturing initiatives.
We are delighted to have Ruby Stienen join our team at Innovaero subsidiary Aviation Composites, through her Composites Engineering Cert III trade apprentice and look forward to continuing to support her as she completes her studies.
We are further committed to investing in the next generation of scientific engineering innovators through the Defence Industry Internship Programme, led by the Minister for Defence Industry, the Hon Melissa Price MP.
This fantastic initiative run through the Australian Department of Defence, provides students with the opportunity to gain real-world science and technology experience in the growing Defence Industry sector, and helps them gain awareness of the career opportunities in the industry.
Thanks to the DIIP, Rohan Musgrave and Hector Paturau have been two valuable additions to the Innovaero Team and we look forward to continuing to support them on their science and engineering journey.
